Applebee's Guests Raise Funds from Flapjacks for Newtown Elementary School PTO & the 6th Grade Class on 2/6/2017Newtown, PA (February 6, 2017) — The Rose Group, franchisee of Applebee's restaurants in Eastern Pennsylvania; Mercer County, New Jersey; Greater Baltimore and the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware, is proud to have helped Newtown Elementary School PTO & the 6th Grade Class raise $935 at a recent Flapjack Fundraiser at the Newtown Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar. Newtown Elementary School PTO & the 6th Grade Class describes the fundraiser as follows: "Newtown Elementary School PTO".
"We are extremely pleased with the success from this Flapjack Fundraiser event," said Jeff Warden, President and CEO of the Rose Group. "Our associates had a wonderful time working with this group and we look forward to partnering with them again in the near future for their fundraising needs."
The Newtown Elementary School PTO & the 6th Grade Class Flapjack Fundraiser was hosted on 2/6/2017. The organization sold 170 tickets. Breakfast included unlimited pancakes, sausages, milk, juice and coffee.
Applebee's is proud to partner with any local non-profit organization as a way to raise money for their cause. From ticket sales to event-day staff, the breakfasts are managed by the non-profit organization with the assistance of Applebee's employee volunteers. Breakfasts can be held on any available Saturday or Sunday morning, and cost the organization around $2.50 a meal. The Applebee's Flapjack Fundraisers represent the restaurant chain's latest efforts to remain active within its local neighborhood.
